compete in a 4 minute round, a 1 minute round, a 2 minute round and a 3 minute round.

the winner of this event will represent Victoria in 2019 at CIPS in Vancouver- May 1st to 5th (approximately).

On May 17th 2017, at the Ambrosia Centre in downtown Victoria, we held our Slam Team Finals.
I, your blogger, was in Japan at the time, and am finally updating this page now, a wee bit late, but that's as may be.

The 2016-2017 Slam season started a few months late due to a venue issue, but now we're fully settled in at our fabulous new venue at Caffe Fantastico in Quadra Village and we've had our first slam. And because we had no venue for Fall 2016 slams, we let this slam decide who to send as our CIPS representative to Vancouver this April.

Did you notice we've moved to Wednesdays? That's a thing too.
